Embark on an awe-inspiring journey around legendary Mount St. Helens on the Loowit Trail. This 3-day, 30-mile backpacking adventure will immerse you in volcanic landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and breathtaking panoramic views, starting at June Lake.

What to Bring:

Proper UL or XUL backpacking gear (backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad) + sense of adventure!

Requirements:

  • Moderate Fitness (1000'/hour)
  • Recent trail-running or backpacking experience
  • Previous Mazamas or other organized group trips
