Join us for an overnight snowshoe during the pre-holiday weekend. We'll trek to a USFS cabin on the scenic east face of Mt Hood. Friday: Trek Pollalie Ridge (3 miles). Stay at cabin. Saturday: Hike in vicinity (FS3512) Sunday: Clean cabin, return to car on Tilly Jane trail (2.5 miles). Capped at eight trekkers. Winter sleeping bag and snowshoes required. USFS rental is Tilly Jane Guard Station with limit of 8 occupants. The cabin has a fireplace, propane oven, lights, kitchen, and wood stove. Shared rental cost of $58. Water is available as snowmelt from Tilly Jane creek. -- Adventurous Young Mazamas (AYM) offers outdoor activities year-round targeted to younger adults in their 20s & 30s. All activities are open to everyone eighteen and over who can safely participate in our events.
