Activity Notes

Ready to test backpacking gear for summer? Join us on an overnight trek into Badger Creek Wilderness. We'll begin in oak grasslands at Ball Point trailhead, gradually ascending to a primitive campsite overlooking the high desert.

The next day we'll pass an abandoned cabin and mine, returning along Little Badger Creek. From here, we'll return to the trailhead overland. As a gradual trek with water sources, this trail is more suitable for newer backpackers while still offering a challenge.
