Activity Notes

Marion Lake is the largest wilderness lake in the Oregon Cascades and is a gateway site granting access to many other trails, and alpine destinations. In addition, there will be wildflowers and mountain peaks. Time will be allowed for pictures and just taking in the beauty.

  • 7:00 a.m.: Leave Clackamas Town Center Transit Mall
    • Plan on being there 15-20 minutes early to organize and brief.
    • We will meet on the second floor of the P&R parking structure, near the entrance.
    • We will likely stop along the way for a potty-break.
  • 9:45-10:00 a.m.: Leave trail head.
  • Mazamas COVID-19 protocols are in effect (e.g., carpooling not permitted except among household members; social distancing, incl. bring mask for public/crowded trail areas, etc.) required.
  • Lunch: Plan on stopping at or near the top.
