Instructor Evaluation Process:
Work with Mazamas Instructors Evaluated on five teaching events:
PAS Scenario Management Instructor lead discussion Skills lab Classroom management
Move to level one instructor. Proven leadership and management skills - move to level two instructor Level two instructors are the lead instructors for the Mazamas
Mazamas Commitment:
Maintain WFR or higher Submit for Annual background check Screened by Mazamas - invited to Instructor course Attend Instructor course - June 18 and 19 (9 am - 4pm) at the MMC at member's expense Teach WFA/MFA with current Mazamas instructors for evaluation (Fall 2022 courses). Teach at least two WFA courses per year for three years for the Mazamas Do not have to join First Aid Committee (you can!)
