Activity Notes

Semi-Annual meeting format for all Mazamas Base Medical Instructors, Instructors in training, prospective instructors, First Aid skill checkers and First Aid Program members.  In-Person preferred.  This is a new format to hold two semi-annual get togethers versus the half day annual format typically held in September.

  • Introductions
  • Base Medical Instructor qualification process
  • Standard Mazamas WFA schedule
  • Review and Update Mazamas Course Lead instructor role and expectations
  • Review how we teach altered mental status
  • Review of course cancel and reschedule policy
  • Lead instructor, instructor and skill checker coverage for upcoming WFA courses
  • MMC equipment room tour
  • Other topics?
