This out-and-back hike offers some of the most spectacular views on the coast. 

Cascade Head and Harts Cove

14.5 miles with 2800 feet of elevation gain. Given the length of the drive (about 2 hours each way from the MMC) and the number of miles to cover, we'll get an early start, departing from the MMC at 6 am. We'll aim to be back by 6 pm. Depending on the needs of the participants, we may also organize carpooling from the west side. 

This will be my first time hiking these trails which in Mazamas parlance makes this an "exploratory" hike.
