Tamanawas Falls and Lamberson Spur

Activity Notes

Ideally, the date for this hike will be well-timed for the vine maples to show off their fall colors. 

We'll carpool from the MMC departing at 7 am or you can meet us at the trailhead at 8:20. A $5 day pass, NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is needed to park at the trailhead. 

We'll cover about 11 miles with 2500 feet of elevation gain. The section of trail to Lamberson Spur will likely have quite a bit of blowdown. 

This will be my first time on these trails which in Mazamas parlance makes this an "exploratory" hike.
