Ideally, the date for this hike will be well-timed for the vine maple to show off its fall colors. 

We'll carpool from the MMC departing at 7 am or you can meet us at the trailhead at 8:20. A NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is needed to park at the trailhead. 

This will be my first time on these trails which in Mazamas parlance makes this an "exploratory" hike. The section of trail to Lamberson Spur will likely have quite a bit of blowdown. 

We'll cover about 11 miles with 2500 feet of elevation gain.
