Activity Notes
The plan is to sleep at the trail head on the 6th night so we can start early on the 7th. We will climb till dusk, and bivy after long john's tower, or at the summit, if we can get there on day 1. This is a carryover, meaning you will carry all the gear you bring in to the summit, and down. The crux of this route is the navigation.
The approach is 3rd/4th class with some exposure. The climbers need to be in good conditioning and be comfortable on such terrain. We will rope based on team comfort level, but most of the approach is unroped.
Gearwise, the team needs to carry a stove, two 30 m ropes, light protection.
Individually, I am putting the gear in the details. The summit pitches are ~5.6 and can be followed in approach shoes.
