Activity Notes
The West Ridge of Stuart is a long and fabulous climb. If your rock skills and routefinding are sharp, you are ready for this Cascades classic. Known for epic adventures and unplanned overnights, it's a real test of efficiency and understanding the route information.
We will plan on hiking in to camp at the bottom of Cascadian Couloir on Thursday, climbing the West Ridge on Friday and descending Cascadian Couloir to return to camp, and hiking out and returning to Portland on Saturday.
Please note each member of the climb team will be expected to lead trad on the summit block. Preference will be given to AR grads.
