Activity Notes
Greetings! I had a really lovely day skiing with most of you last week. This week we are going to do Trillium Lake Ski area. There has not been a ton of snow, but that could change by Saturday so I am going to decide on the actual route when we get there. But in either event we will meet at the Trillium Lake Trailhead When: Saturday, calculate leave time as though you were leaving from the Mazama Center at 7:30. Take Hwy 26, driving the speed limit. Where: Trillium Lake Trailhead . Gather near the entrance at the top of the hill after parking in the lot. You will again need a sno-park pass. Other information: Might be chilly, and as with last week, there will be some standing around as we work on drills. So bring those layers : ) Option 1: Loop the lake (if it is icy without a lot of new snow, this will be our likely plan) Option 2: Mud Creek Ski Loop . The loop starts from the Trillium Lake Trailhead but wouldn't be a great option if the conditions are overly crusty / iced over.If something comes up, text me so we know not to wait. Looking forward to it! No news means no change. Ondie
