Activity Notes

Come along for a hike of scenic Cape Lookout. Visit beaches, rocky shoreline and booming winter surf on a weekend trip to one of the best parts of the Oregon coast.  Area highlights include solitary headlands, huge sand dunes, and glorious old growth.

Optionally, pack some picnic items to share for a trailhead beach bbq. Carpool from Hillsboro REI. If driving, the biannual Oregon State Park pass is a great value.

Adventurous Young Mazamas (AYM) offers outdoor activities year-round targeted to adults in their 20s & 30s, activities are open to everyone eighteen and over who can safely participate in our events.
