Activity Notes

Navigation exercise and hike on Hamilton Island.   Drive I-84 east to Exit 44 for Cascade Locks and Stevenson. After 0.4 miles, bear right for the Bridge of the Gods ($2 toll) and Stevenson. Driving over the bridge for 0.7 miles, make a left at the junction with Highway 14W for North Bonneville and Vancouver. Drive 3.2 miles and make a left onto Dam Access Road. After 0.1 miles, go right for Fort Cascades Historic Site. Keep straight, passing the turn for Fort Cascades, for 1.6 miles to the end of the road on Hamilton Island.
