Activity Notes

Please note that this is an update on our hike.

Meet at Frog Lake Snopark lot.

Arrive by 915 and depart on the Twin Lakes trail at 0930. We will hike passed the Lower Twin and the Upper Twin Lake then continue up to Palmateer Point, where we will stop for lunch and enjoy views of Mt. Hood, if it is good weather.  If only okay weather, i.e. light rain or possibility of it, we won't sit at the Point in the rain and eat, but along the trail. Please feel free to bring a cup and extra water, since I will have a stove for lunch coffee, tea or soup. After our lunch break, we will continue around to the PCT and return to the trailhead. Estimate distance is 7 - 8 miles.

Our pace is steady and gentle.  My whole point in being out is to share the experience with others and enjoy the sounds and sights that nature provides.
