Frog Lake Butte Twin Lakes Loop

Activity Notes

Will start from the Frog Lake snow park and heads towards Frog Lake connecting to the Frog Butte trail #530.  Lodgepole pine, cedar, hemlock, silver fir and Douglas-fir will line our route. At the intersection with trail #484, head up to the upper butte, where should have a slight view of Mt. Hood.  Then return to the trail junction and take trail #495 to lower Twin Lake, have lunch and then back to the cars via the PCT.   About 7 miles and 1,700' elevation gain. Meeting Location: Sandy Safeway by the Wells Fargo ATM. Note: The "Details" tab on the hike description is incorrect. It describes the route to Palamateer, not the Frog Lake Twin Lakes Loop.
