Activity Notes
This is a great opportunity for recent BCEP graduates, utilizing both snow travel and rock skills. Round trip is about 4 miles with roughly 2000' of elevation. I plan to have campsites at the Cougar Rock campground in the park Saturday night. Climbers can come up and camp or meet the team at the trailhead Saturday morning. Vehicle entry to Mount Rainier National Park is $30 per car (this is good for 7 days). Cost for the campsites will be shared among those who opt to camp. Please keep the park fee and camping costs in mind when deciding to apply. I'll notify who is selected by May 24.
Note: I will be leading another climb on Saturday and expect to be back to Cougar Rock in the late afternoon.
