Mt. Defiance is our BCEP "graduation" hike.

It is one of more difficult hikes in the gorge - 13 miles with around 5000' elevation gain.

Due to wilderness regulations of having up to 12 people in a group and to better accommodate people with different hiking pace, we will split into two teams:

  1. The slower team will be led by Lynne, will meet at the trailhead at 6 AM, and will start hiking at 6:30 AM
  2. The faster team will be led by Sergey, will meet at the trailhead at 7 AM, and will start hiking at 7:30 AM
