Wahkeena Multnomah Creeks Loop

Activity Notes

We’ll start at the Wahkeena Falls parking area and head up to Wahkeena Falls and stop briefly at Wahkeena springs.  Heading East, we’ll cross over and down to Multnomah Creek and follow the creek downhill, passing Ecola Falls, Wiesendanger Falls and Dutchman Falls before finding our way to the top of Multnomah Falls.  We’ll wind down the switchbacks to the lodge and take the short side trail along the historic highway back to our starting point. 

Pace: Level 2 (2 to 2.5 mph) moderate pace, with time for breaks and enjoying the scenery.

We’ll carpool from MMC, meet at 7:45 am, departing at 8 am.  Or, alternately, meet at the trail head at 8:40 am.  Expect to return to the MMC by 3 pm.

Parking at Wahkeena Falls is immediately along the old historic highway.  No special permit is required.
