In spite of the Mazama 'C' rating, I would consider this hike to be moderate. The trail should be in good condition and the 3,100 feet of elevation gain is rather gradual as it is over almost 6 miles. Rhododenrens should be in bloom and we should have great views of the mountains from the top if clear conditions.
