The Trail:

This hike is a strenuous 12 miles with 3300 ft of elevation gain. Preview the route here:

Meet, Carpool, Park

  • Meet at 7AM at the Columbia Gorge outlet malls in Troutdale to form carpools. We will be in front of the Starbucks.
  • A Northwest Forest Pass will be required to park at the trailhead. There is no pay station at the trailhead.
  • The trailhead is here. Please advise leader if you are meeting the group at the trailhead.
  • Roundtrip to the trailhead from the meeting point is 120 miles. Please plan a contribution of $12 to your driver.
