Canyoning Practice (July)

Canyon Committee will be hosting a regular monthly practice night (6-9pm) from July 2026 to Apr 2027. Every month we will pick a canyon-related topic and have a series of exercises for attendees to work on as a form of continuing education. Practice evenings are largely informal and we may offer occasional presentations / skill demos. It's also an opportunity to meet and chat with other folks in the general Portland-area canyon community.<br> <br> Sessions are open to all Mazamas members and non-members who have a basic level of canyon training. A canyon class badge is required to sign up, or contact the leader(s) if you have equivalent experience (or need the badge). Newcomers may need to take a quick basic skill equivalency to ensure that everyone has at least a minimum level of training.
