Join me for a climb of South Sister's Prouty Glacier. For this much less traveled route we gain the glacier from Green Lakes—where we will likely be camping on snow—and ascend through a couloir on the headwall and on to the summit.
- A major factor will be the date that Cascade Lakes Highway opens up.
- Team selection will be made by May 15.
- This a couple of weeks before permits are required.
