Activity Notes
We will begin hiking at the Bonneville Trailhead for an out and back hike to Aldrich Butte, a lesser and less-visited butte in the Columbia Gorge that sits in the shadow of Table Mountain.
Total milegae is about 11 miles, and total elevation gain is about 1600'
Most of the hike occurs on the PCT as it makes its way north away from the Columbia River and around Table Mountain.
Those who wish to carpool will meet at the Mazamas Mountaineering Center, 527 SE 43rd Ave SE, PDX, at 6:50 AM, for a 7 AM departure.
I can take 3 hikers in my car, but we will need at least one and possibly two additional drivers if all of us wish to carpool.
If you wish to meet at the trailhead, please respond to this email and let me know, so we don't wait for you. We should begin hiking around 7"55 AM.
The trailhead is the North Bonneville Trailhead, on the Washington side of the Columbia River.
