Activity Notes
Great views of the Columbia River Gorge along with enchanting stands of oak, cascading waterfalls, dramatic basalt outcroppings, and profuse wildflowers in the spring. This is a great place to hike while waiting for snow to melt at higher elevations. Wildflowers are in peak bloom. Weather looks like it will be fantastic! :) Hike: 7.8 miles out and back Elevation Gain: ~1800 feet Travel time from PDX: 1 hour and 20 minutes Where to meet: MMC for carpool to Coyote Wall TH --- Adventurous Young Mazamas (AYM) offers activities targeted to those in their 20s, 30s, and anyone young at heart.
