Palmateer Point, Twin Lakes Loop

Activity Notes

Beginning at the Barlow Pass Trailhead, we will hike through Devil's Half Acre Meadow, then through beautiful forest up to Palmateer Point - where, if the weather cooperates we can enjoy picturesque views of Mt Hood. We will then continue south to Upper Twin Lake, Lower Twin Lake, then connect to the PCT and hike north along Ghost Ridge back to our starting point. This route is 10.75 miles, and 1900ft of elevation gain, with options to shorten the hike along the way. 

Carpool meeting time 7:15 AM in Sandy, trailhead time 8:30AM.

Winter has hit - don't forget your rain and snow gear, including microspikes/traction! 

Sno-Park Permit required at the trailhead!
