Activity Notes

Black Hole Falls is a seldom-visited 50-foot waterfall tucked in a canyon on North Siouxon Creek.

The out-and-back trail covers about 10 miles with 2000 feet of elevation gain. The first couple miles are quite overgrown, in some places with thorny bushes. Depending on the recent rainfall, there may be short stream crossings that risk getting wet feet. There are two crossings that require walking or scooting across a log that may make some hikers uneasy. Once past the overgrown portion, the trail is a nice walk in the woods to the stunning falls.

The final 6 miles of the drive are on gravel roads with a couple easy-to-miss turns and a short section steep enough that standard vehicles may have difficulty maintaining traction. A WA Discover Pass is needed for parking.

We'll carpool from the MMC departing at 7 am for the approximately 90-minute drive and aim to be back by 4 pm.
