This is an A level Mazama Hike that occurs in a wilderness area. A level hikes are easy or less strenuous hikes with less than 8 miles in distance and less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

We will meet at the Zig Zag Ranger Station at 8:30 AM and then proceed by car to Top Spur Trailhead.

We will hike up to and around Bald Mountain, enjoying the wildflowers and Hood views, and return to the car.

Approximately 2.3 miles, and 400" elev. gain.
