Activity Notes
Take a flat stretch of the PCT to a vigorous climb up to a former lookout site. The Bunker Hill Trail is a short spur trail that branches off the Pacific Crest Trail near Wind River. Bunker Hill itself is a 20-25-million-year-old igneous plug that rears above the Wind River valley. Although the former site of the lookout tower is now hemmed in by mature trees, there is one rock pinnacle shortly before the summit with a great view of Mt. Adams and the Wind River valley on a clear day.| Other Information | |
