Take a quiet, flat hike out to the northern tip of Sauvie Island. Traveling through a state wildlife refuge and visit the small Warrior Rock Light. In winter, both on the hike and the drive in there's a chance of seeing bald eagles, sandhill cranes, Canada and cackling geese, snow geese, and tundra swans. Sea lions might be seen in the  Columbia River. 7 miles round trip.

After the hike we may stop at several viewing points to see what wintering birds are present.
