Activity Notes
Take a quiet, flat hike out to the northern tip of Sauvie Island. Traveling through a state wildlife refuge and visit the small Warrior Rock Light. In winter, both on the hike and the drive in there's a chance of seeing bald eagles, sandhill cranes, Canada and cackling geese, snow geese, and tundra swans. Sea lions might be seen in the Columbia River. 7 miles round trip. After the hike we may stop at several viewing points to see what wintering birds are present. Meet at the trailhead at 10AM Saturday, Jan 29. Parking pass required.Canceled
