Activity Notes
We will start at the Paradise Park trailhead that begins off Rd. 39 just off of Hwy 26 (sorry the trailhead option didn't exist - exact trailhead details here: https://www.oregonhikers.org/field_guide/Paradise_Park_Trailhead).. There is plenty of space to practice snow skills, and this hike will also afford us a chance at gaining some elevation at altitude while in the snow. Hopefully you are learning what kind of gear/clothing changes you need to be making for yourself. Again we will have opportunities to practice some of the snow skills that we will be focused on learning the following day, so please also bring your Snow Day rental gear (ice axes, crampons, boots) in addition to the normal climbing gear so we can also practice all the snow skills you learned the day before. https://www.oregonhikers.org/field_guide/Paradise_Park_Hike| Other Information | |
