Elk/Kings Loop (with car shuttle)

Activity Notes

This is a challenging hike with very steep ups and downs, some short sections of scrambling, and a rope-assisted down climb. Participants should be in strong physical condition with a recent history of similar activities. Depending on the needs of the hikers, we will carpool from the MMC at 7 am and/or from the Target at 185th in Hillsboro at 7:30. Otherwise, you can meet us at the Kings Mountain trailhead at 8:15 am. We will set up a car shuttle from there to the Elk Mountain trailhead (a 5-minute drive) where we will begin the hike.
