We will head up the Franklin Ridge trail from the Larch Mountain Trail. Seek out the trails club lodge, then head further up Franklin Ridge to the Multnomah Tie trail. We'll head back down the Multnomah Trail to Multnomah Falls parking lot.
We will come back down Oneonta Trail #424 if it is open. Passing Triple Falls, and returning on Gorge Trail #400. This makes the hike a mile or two longer.
Total elevation gain is about 3200 feet. 11 mile lollipop loop.

If the Multnomah Falls trail is still closed (trail reconstruction) we'll go to a trailhead further east to a trailhead along the Historic Highway 30. This connects with trail 400 and the Multnomah Falls Switchbacks.
