Broken Top is a heavily eroded volcano with spectacular views of the Three Sisters. It's a fairly easy ascent - a bit of easy snow and one very short section (10 feet) of 5.1 rock climbing.

Activity Notes

We will meet at Green Lakes trailhead around noon on Saturday, hike in, and camp in the backcountry near Green Lakes. On Sunday we will climb, then break camp and hike out. It should be a gorgeous time of year in a beautiful setting. Necessary skills include low-fifth-class rock climbing, fixed-line travel, rappelling, and plunge-stepping down scree.
