Mt. Shuksan, Sulphide Glacier

Activity Notes

Mount Shuksan is a genuine alpine experience: snow and rock in the North Cascades. We'll leave Portland on Thursday, July 29 and camp near Marblemount, so that we'll have a luxurious day to hike into camp on Friday. Saturday, we'll climb the peak, with a glacier crossing and low 5th class rock on the way to the summit. On Sunday, we'll pack out, swim in Baker Lake and drive back to Portland.
