Activity Notes

The SSI curriculum will occur over 3-4 training lecture/sessions at the MMC or around Portland, followed by a two day weekend field session on Mt Hood's glaciers. This second weekend field session is for the participants/students and instructors/volunteers on Team B. We will be camping friday and saturday night at the trailhead in order to get an early start hiking to the practice and climbing site. Location TBD: but either at Cloud Cap Saddle Campground, Tilly Jane Campground, or Timberline parking lot. This will be the Field Session for Team B If weather prevents this activity from occurring then we will have an alternative field session the weekend of 9/25-26
