Activity Notes
Larch Mountain from Multnomah Falls is a hike that starts out on Oregon's most-hiked trail, ascends Multnomah Creek, and eventually enters a subalpine zone where it could be much cooler. If the skies are clear, we'll get a view of our surroundings from Sherrard Point.
We will hike approximately 14 miles, gaining 4,000' on Halloween, back in time to trick-or-treat with the little ones in our lives. Because we will likely arrive Multnomah Falls before they open the restrooms, we will make a rest stop at the Troutdale truck stop.
