Activity Notes
This fast loop hike will visit the high point on the Timberline Trail and ford Newton Creek. Gnarl Ridge is among the more awe-inspiring hikes on the east side of Mt Hood. If the mountain is visible at all, our photos should be spectacular. The usual 2020 rules apply: physical distancing, no carpooling or sharing items, carry masks and hand sanitizer. Update of 9/09/2020: This hike may be cancelled if the wildfire situation does not improve.| Other Information | |
