Activity Notes

Mt Aix is the highest point in the William O. Douglas Wilderness, east of Mt Rainier. The ascent features incredible views of nearby mountains, but our destination will only become visible in the last half hour or so. Scrambling is required to reach the summit, but most of this climb is a hike on a very nice trail.
