Activity Notes
Columbia Gorge, Washington side. Cook is way more of a mountain than a "hill", with good elevation gain, gorge views and chilly breezes on its broad summit meadow. It's right next to Dog Mountain and very similar except we'll probably have it all to ourselves. Expect the pace to be fairly brisk and steadily on. And also, expect wind and rain with snow up top. Microspikes and poles are recommended. Fat winter pack stuffed with essential items is mandatory. 3000' 110 miles round trip driving distanceRegistration is Closed
