Activity Notes

We will leave Portland early Saturday morning, drive to Marblemount and attempt to get permits for this climb.  ***Bonus points for any applicant who is able drive up to Marblemount Friday and get permits (either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning). If permits are not available for Snowfield, we will select an alternative mountain to climb (Ruth to Icy Peak, West McMillan Spire, Eldorado, Black Peak, Sahale, Tomyhoi Peak). The general climb plan is to approach to base camp Saturday afternoon. Summit on Sunday, camp Sunday night, come out cars early Monday morning and drive home. This is an exploratory climb.
