Activity Notes

Pinnacle Peak (6,562 ft) is located in the Tatoosh range on the southern boundary of Mt. Rainier National Park. The standard climbing route is a 3rd and 4th class scramble up the western portion of the south face. We will be
climbing the more challenging east ridge route which starts east of the standard route at the saddle between Castle and Pinnacle Peaks. Team members should be prepared to climb a fixed line on 5.6 rock.  We will descend the standard route.   We plan to car camp in or near Mt. Rainier National Park Friday and Saturday nights.
