This steep trail charges up the north face of Silver Star, climbing a significant amount before cresting a viewpoint opposite the summit of Silver Star Mountain. From there, it loses elevation and then climbs to a junction with the Bluff Mountain Trail. From there, you turn right and hike to the summit of Silver Star Mountain.

The most challenging route to the top of Silver Star! 9-10 miles with ~3600' net elevation gain. C grade hike. Trekking poles and 2-3 liters of water minimum recommended.
