Mazamas — For the Love of Mountains
Activity Notes
This will be a two day outing with a drive to the trail head on Friday the 14th. We will be camping at the trail head that Friday followed with an alpine start the following Saturday morning. Saturday will be out and back with a return to town Saturday evening. Once back to the trail head the climb is officially over but some may chose to camp another night and return Sunday morning (I will most likely be returning Saturday evening.)
We will meet at the trail head Friday evening. Arrival time to the trail head Friday is not set however I will be leaving town in the early afternoon and will be there by 6pm. I encourage folks to get there early enough to ensure they get a good night's rest as Saturday will be a long day and we will be on trail early.
Links to gear list, prospectus and carpool will be provided to those selected for the climb.
As always carpooling is strongly advised.
