Tracy Hill Loop (Afternoon Hike)

Activity Notes

A 5 mile loop starting at Catherine Creek and making a clockwise loop using unofficial and unmaintained trails, touring dry meadows, basalt pinnacles and arches, and (on a clear day) great views of Hood. The planned loop has about 1300' of gain.

We'll carpool from the MMC at 2 p.m., reaching the Catherine Creek trailhead at 3:30 p.m. We'll aim to maintain a 2 mph pace or better, finishing the hike in 2.5 hours, including breaks.

This is an exploratory hike, meaning the leader has not done this hike before.
