Activity Notes
Bluegrass Ridge is a rarely used trail on the east side of Mt Hood that has great views and wildflowers. You can find a description on OregonHikers. While there has been some recent volunteer efforts to bring this trail back, there is still some bushwhacking and route finding as well as a decent amount of blowdown to climb over that adds a bit of adventure. The hike is approximately 15 miles and 3300 ft elevation gain and with the trail conditions and drive time that makes for a full day.
When you apply, please make sure your profile includes info on your recent hiking activities. And feel free to reach out to me if you have questions.
