Let's cross our fingers and hope we hike during "peak balsamroot"!

This is going to be a briskly paced walk up and down Dog Mtn, taking the steepest option up and the least steep option down.

We will have lunch at the top.

The leader will have water jugs and climbing ropes for those hikers who wish to add some extra weight and get in a little extra conditioning with their wildflowers.

We will meet at the MMC at 7:50 AM to organize carpools for a prompt 8 AM departure , and we should arrive at the trailhead (located here)-(will add when link plug-in works) at  9:10 AM, and we will begin hiking at 9:25 AM.
