Cathedral Peak is located in the Pasayten Wilderness, an over 500,00-acre expanse in North-central Washington, just east of the North Cascades. The peak is a stone’s throw from the border with Canada, and far from paved roads. Amphitheater Mountain is 8358’ high, and the 85th highest peak in Washington. While stiff 5th class routes have been established on the steep faces of the mountain, we will summit via a hike (may involve an easy scramble).

Trip changed to Trinity Alps (CA) due to trail closures. Entry from Long Canyon Trailhead. Destinations: Siligo Peak, Gibson Peak, Four Lakes Loop, and Seven Up Peak. Travel to California and camp near the trailhead on Tue, Sep 15. Climb Sep 16 to 19, and also travel back home on Sep 19.
