Activity Notes
Fun but challenging hike up to Palmer from Timberline Lodge. This hike is a great trainer for summit season which is fast approaching!
Parking Pass Required: Oregon Sno-Park Permit
Gear required:
- Spikes and snowshoes just in case
- Trekking poles
- Waterproof, warm layers
- Waterproof hiking boots
- Snacks
- 2-3 liters of water
- 10 essentials
We'll meet at the Wy'East lodge at 8:00am then hike to the top of the Palmer ski lift if weather permits.
We'll have a brief stop at the top for snacks, and then can relax in the lodge after the hike.
Priority will be given to anyone doing MFA at the Mazama lodge this Sunday.
