Bennett Pass (Nordic)

Activity Notes

Nordic ski on Bennett Pass Road, starting at the Bennett Pass Sno-Park. This is easy-moderate for the first 1.5 miles to the viewpoint, and more difficult for the last 3/4 mile or so to the Terrible Traverse. Depending on conditions and people's experience levels, we may turn around at the viewpoint, which shortens the trip to about 3.5 miles and ~200 feet elevation gain.

Equipment required: Skis (backcountry skis with metal edges are recommended), ski boots, poles, warm weather gear.

If you need to rent equipment, please try to rent it the night before if possible. It's possible to stop for rentals on the way, but renting the night before saves time.
